This is a great chance for people show their artist side but I couldn't find the image in order to enter in the "color me image contest"
Where is the image or we can use what ever image we want?...thank you.

Where to from here?

It appears that we, realistically can't keep enthusiasm for contests going, given the small amount of submissions to the last one. So where do we go from here? Ideas please?

Maybe we can just leave it open for anyone who wishes to post a source image for others to play with, and we can post submissions on an ongoing basis, rather than having contests?

CONTEST #3

I've posted a source picture for the next contest (#3) on page 5 of the album.

It's a linear reduction of one of my favouite pictures I've taken of my 11 year-old daughter, Emily (ain't she beautiful?!, even in linear reduction).

So let's go folks! Let's see what you do with this. And no holds barred, eh? Go for it!

Remember, final image, for posting, can't be more than 500 kb and must be in JPG, GIF or BMP.

Contest will be on for 2 weeks, starting tonight, 9 p.m. EST, October 24th. And we'll have voting and declare a winner at the end.

Themes For Contest Images

How about some feedback on the content / types of photos / drawings / whatever folks would like to work with? Also, is the format of presentation of source picture, i.e.: a linear reduction of a photo OK for everyone to use? Assume any pic presented as source should be in colour, rather than grayscale?

Just curious, but when do we get a new picture to color and Who, exactly is in charge of picking said image? not that is anything wrong with the thing we are to be coloring now, but i've seemed to have lost my movivation on this particular project...

Uploading Pictures

We're sorry about the message you experienced. A bug has recently cropped up that only permits Tribe.net users to view the FIRST page in a Photo Album, whether that album is associated with a Tribe, or an individual member.

We hope to have a fix for this bug shortly, so you'll be able to browse all of the photos uploaded by Tribe.net users. Thanks for bearing with us as we work through our beta period.
